Events
This will be a brief overview of what happens throughout the school year. Note that this is subject to change every year. Also it's incomplete.
September
Photo Day
Your picture will be taken during the first few days of school, and it will live in the yearbook for the rest of time.
Terry Fox Run
You get half a period to walk around the school, with some booths here and there. But it's fun seeing all your friends out!
Orange Shirt Day
Wear an orange shirt to spread awareness about the atrocities done to Indigenous communities in the past.
October
Clubs Week
Clubs will place a booth around the crossroads, take this time to look around and see whether you're interested in any of them! Schoolwork is not everything you know.
Parent Teacher Interview
If parents want to meet with one of the teachers, they will have to book them in advance. Keep in mind they have limited spots and are often filled up immediately. Most teachers also offer 2 spots of 2 volunteer hours for helping them out that night.
Pierre Elliott Trudeau's Birthday
There's cake!
Fall Spirit Week
Most spirit weeks are similar: wear a specific colour, wear PJs, wear something weird like skiing gear.
Fall Fiesta
This replaced Blizzard Bash in the year 2025/2026, but it's all basically the same thing. Food trucks, game booths around the school, and most importantly the haunted house! (That's the only thing worth lining up for) Other than that you just walk around and chill with your friends. Or go home. Your choice!
November
Take Our Kids to Work Day
Good for you if your parents work at home!!
Semi-Formal
If you have friends, I guarantee you this will be the best night of your life (maybe). There's okay food, there's loud music and people
